One of the countries affected by the issues is the Philippines our own country. 3 in 4 cities have less than 20% of their area dedicated to public spaces and streets. According to Sustainable Development Goals UN, over the next four decades, Africa’s urban population will soar from 414 million to over 1.2 billion & Asia from 1.9 billion to 3.3 billion and over the next four decades, India will increase for another 497 million to its urban population, China-341 million, Nigeria-200 million, the US-103 million, and Indonesia 92 million. Overall, 700 million people live in slums today and the number keeps growing.

The main pollution in sdg 11 is air pollution. Air pollution is the leading cause of death globally, and cities are responsible for it.

The world's population is becoming increasingly urban, with 54% of the world's population living in cities in 2015.

Cities lack the funds to provide basic services like housing, transportations, and energy.
